How we rate bookmakers
Every bookmaker gets a score from 0 to 10 on seven criteria. The overall score is a weighted average of those seven scores. We publish the weights so you can judge the result yourself.
Criteria and weights

| Payments | 15% | Available payment methods, limits, fees and how fast the bookmaker pays out. |
| App & experience | 10% | Mobile apps, site speed and how easy the site is to use. |
| Promotions | 10% | Value of offers once wagering requirements, minimum odds and expiry are taken into account. |
| Customer support | 5% | Support channels, opening hours and quality of the answers. |
From scores to the rating
Each criterion is scored from 0 to 10 with one decimal. The overall score is the weighted average, shown out of 10 in the score table. The star rating out of 5 on our pages is the overall score divided by two. We only show an overall score when all seven criteria are scored.
For now our editors set the odds score from the margins they see on our odds pages. We plan to compute it automatically from that data.
How a review is checked
- An editor drafts the review from the bookmaker's published terms and our own data.
- A second person checks every fact against a source. The sources are listed on the review.
- A native speaker edits each language version. We do not publish raw machine translations.
- The review shows the date it was last checked.
How often we re-check
Reviews are re-checked at least every 180 days. Each bonus shows the date we last verified it; offers not verified in the last 30 days are not promoted.
Independence
Some links to bookmakers are affiliate links. Commercial relationships never change a score, and a bookmaker cannot pay to be reviewed or ranked.
